Opti-Soft - exporter of the year 2017 of the Republic of Karelia!

The best exporting company was announced during the Exporter's Day, organized by the Karelian Development Corporation. The leader in nomination "Exporter of the Year" was Opti-Soft. In 2017, the volume of exports in comparison with 2016 increased by 2 times. The share of export deliveries in the total revenue was 60%. The countries that use the products and services are Finland, Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine, Kazakhstan. Negotiations are ongoing with companies from other European countries.

15th anniversary of the Automation Systems Center of Petrozavodsk State University

The Automation Systems Center of Petrozavodsk State University celebrated its 15th anniversary. It was established in 2002 at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of PetrSU with the purpose of providing services in the field of information technologies and developing automated control systems for enterprises and technological processes.

Since 2002 the staff of the center has grown from 5 to 80 people, and the annual sales increased by more than 15 times. 35 projects have been implemented to start-up Metso DNA automation systems, more than 50 projects for industrial enterprises in Russia and a number of foreign countries.
On the basis of the Center several small innovative companies have been established: Opti-Soft, Cloud computing, Electronic Technology Security, Calculation and Analytical Center, Carton Optima. Several new directions of activity related to information technologies for manufacturing enterprises emerged.
